Staying at the hotel was a delight, especially the morning breakfast! We loved the variety of Japanese and Western options, including unique local dishes that made mealtime exciting. Plus, the convenient access to Nagano Station made exploring with my granddaughter super easy.
In my wife's opinion, a play area for kids would be great.

I really enjoyed my stay here, especially the comfy bed and the spacious bathroom with great water pressure. I also appreciated the relaxing massage options available that helped me unwind after a long day. The only hiccup was the room temperature being a bit warm for my liking at night, but overall, it was a fantastic experience! 😊

Hotel Metropolitan Nagano impressed me with its spacious and modern decor, as well as its superb accessibility. The direct link to the train station made traveling very easy for me, especially when managing luggage.
More accessible elevators for seniors would be helpful.

Unbeatable location with great amenities
I spent two nights in a Deluxe Twin Room and was impressed by the unbeatable location right above the Nagano Station, making it incredibly convenient. The staff were friendly and efficient, and I enjoyed a varied breakfast with local delicacies. One drawback was the noise from the trains, which could disrupt sleep, but overall, my stay was very enjoyable.

Convenient internal walkway directly connects to the train station, making it a breeze to access travel connections. Rooms feature modern amenities with clean, spacious layouts suitable for a comfortable night's sleep.
The air conditioning lacked precise temperature control, often leaving the room warmer than preferred. There’s just a single laundry machine across a few floors, making it less convenient for larger groups. Fridge seemed more like a cooler, which caused an issue when storing sandwiches for a day trip.

great location but cleanliness needs attention
The location of the hotel makes it easy to access local transportation. I appreciated how my 80+ year old mother could walk to the train station without facing the cold temperatures.
While the hotel was generally clean, a few details could have been improved.

Recommend it for convenience seekers
The location was a key attraction, totally connected to shopping and dining without stepping outside. I was impressed by how easily we accessed transport for our trips—buses right in front of the place, perfect for getting around.
It wasn’t exactly a bargain, but for the convenience it provided, it was still acceptable.

The location couldn't have been better, right next to Nagano station and close to other attractions. The staff were exceptionally helpful, letting us leave our luggage while we explored the area. Our room was comfortable and warm, which was a huge plus given the chilly weather. The breakfast buffet wasn't massive, but the quality stood out and was thoroughly enjoyable each morning.

cozy, cozy, cozy
The location couldn't be better! It’s directly connected to the train station and Midori Mall, especially with my elderly mother. Our Superior Twin Room was spacious and spotless. We indulged in a good breakfast each morning featuring local treats like oyaki and soba!
